Q. Do you sell YKK zippers?
A. No. We manufacture and sell U CAN brand zippers only.

Q. Why should I buy U CAN zippers?
A. With years of experience and our on-site manufacturing/assembly plant and dye facilities, we are able to turn around orders faster than our competitors. Our quality meets or surpasses the industry standard.

Q. Do you have a minimum order requirement?
A. Our prices are structured to encourage orders of 100 pieces or more. However, we are happy to accommodate orders of less than 100 pieces at a higher per piece price.

Q. What if I only need a few samples for my buyer before placing a production order?
A. Sample orders will be charged a per piece price. Custom colors may be assessed a $35 dye charge.

Q. How do I determine what zipper type best fits my needs?
A. Our customer service is happy to assist you in making sure you order the right zipper for your application. In general, the following zipper types are used for these common applications:

  • Dresses – Invisible closed bottom
  • Jackets – Nylon Coil, Metal or Plastic Molded separating bottom or two way separating
  • Trousers – Coil closed bottom
  • Denim – Metal closed bottom
  • Handbags – Nylon Coil or Metal closed bottom

Q. Can I order zipper pulls with my logo?
A. Yes. You will be charged a one time fee for the customized mold. Please contact us at (213) 749-2610 for additional information.

Q. Can you dye to match my swatches?
A. Yes. We have a sophisticated dye house on the premises that enables us to match any color you need. Custom colors may be assessed a $35 dye charge.

Q. What quality assurance do you offer?
A. We have many checks and balances within our production lines to ensure that we deliver the highest quality possible. We take pride in our products and stand behind them. Q. How long does it take to receive my order?
A. Items in stock can be shipped same day. Cut length zippers can generally be made in 5-7 days. More time may be required if an order includes custom colors that require customer approval.

Q. What is the typical delivery method?
A. Local orders will be delivered free of charge. If we ship your order by UPS or by your preferred carrier, shipping charges will be included in the final invoice.

Q. Where are the zippers manufactured?
A. All of our zippers are manufactured here in Los Angeles, unless otherwise specified by the customer. We have the capabilities to manufacture zippers in our China facilities and have them shipped to the U.S., however for such requests, quantity and timing should be taken into consideration.

Q. Do you have facilities in China that could drop ship to my contractors outside of the United States?
A.. Yes. We have facilities in China. If you would like orders fulfilled and delivered directly to distributors overseas, we are happy to assist you. Just place the order with us and we’ll make sure that everything is taken care of.
